Will to Way — Restoring Hope

About

About Will to Way

A small Kentucky charity working with people who are homeless or fragilely housed in Scottsville and the communities around it.

Why we were formed

Will to Way was formed to meet the needs of area homeless and fragilely housed.

Will to Way Corporation was incorporated in Kentucky on March 22, 2018 and recognised by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) public charity with effect from November 2018. The IRS records our activity classification as Low-Cost Temporary Housing (NTEE L40) — the category for organizations working on housing and shelter needs.

We are not a large institution. We file the short federal return used by organizations with gross receipts of $50,000 or less, and nearly everything we do runs on donated goods, donated services, and volunteer hours. That shape is deliberate: what we get, we give.

Will to Way exists to restore hope, one act of kindness at a time.

Who we serve

Our neighbours who are homeless, and those who are fragilely housed — people who have a roof for now but for whom one bill, one illness, or one lost shift would take it away.

We serve Scottsville, Kentucky and surrounding communities. Our sincere desire is to be a blessing to the homeless and fragilely housed right here at home.

How we work

Most of what we do happens through the Care Village — a mobile community that brings showers, meals, haircuts, toiletries and groceries to where people already are, rather than asking them to travel for it.

Around it sits something simpler: answering the phone. If someone calls and we cannot help directly, we try to put them in touch with someone who can.

What we believe

Whether you are interested in giving or receiving, we hope you will take the time to contact Will to Way. Regardless of your current situation, we want you to know there is hope.

The organization is governed by a board of directors and led by its President. Its legal identity, registration numbers, and the public records they can be checked against are published in full.
